Normal turnaround is typically 4–5 weeks, depending on wheel condition, finish selection, workload, and repair complexity. Most wheels are completed within 6 weeks or less.
Yes. Fuchs Restoration keeps the restoration process in-house from start to finish, which allows for better quality control, more consistent finishes, and faster turnaround times.
We offer factory original clear anodizing and paint, black centers with anodized lips, RSR finish, custom paint and polish, polishing, and other restoration options depending on the wheel.
Yes. Average curb rash, scratches, and minor imperfections can often be repaired during the restoration process.
In many cases, yes. We can restore certain bent or damaged wheels if they can be safely returned to roadworthy condition. Photos should be sent first for review.
Some gouges and cracks may be repairable depending on the wheel. If welding is required, there may be slight discoloration after restoration, especially in the repaired area.
Date stamps, markings, part numbers, and Fuchs foxes are preserved whenever possible. If you choose to have the backs serviced, ink stamps may not be preserved.
Yes. Please ship wheels only. Tires and lug nuts should be removed before shipping.
Use strong boxes with packing material on all sides. A 20x20x10 box is usually recommended for one wheel. Add protective cardboard around the rim area to prevent shipping damage.
Send clear photos of each wheel along with details about the finish or service you want. This allows Fuchs Restoration to review condition and provide the most accurate estimate.
Yes, caps can be restored in anodized or black finish. However, because caps are thin, deep gouges or scuffs may still be visible, and replacement may be recommended in some cases.
Valve stems may be available as an add-on option.
